ALTAR GUILD

      The Altar Guild prepares the altar and sanctuary for worship under the supervision of the priest. Guild members faithfully and devoutly undertake the care of the altar, vestments, linens, metal ware and hangings. Guild members are also responsible for maintaining a supply of bread, wine and liquid wax for candles.

Preparation for worship is usually in teams of three according to a rotating monthly schedule.

A member of the Altar Guild should be present at all worship services of the parish.
