ACOLYTES

      The primary responsibility of an acolyte is to assist in worship services, from lighting and extinguishing of the candles to assisting the priest at the altar. They serve, usually, in teams of four and are in the procession, help with Holy Communion, receive the offering from the Ushers, ring the Sanctus bell and perform other duties as assigned.

All persons, including adults and youth, male and female (age 10 and above) are welcomed to receive training for serving as an acolyte.
